Jim Browning is an accomplished engineer, business strategist, and community leader based in Colorado, known for uniting technical expertise with people-first leadership. A West Point graduate and lifelong learner, Jim’s background spans engineering, education management, retail operations, and small-business growth. Growing up on a farm in Texas, Jim developed both a strong work ethic and a love for problem-solving—traits that carried him through the United States Military Academy, where he led the Sandhurst Team to a Brigade Championship. His academic journey continued through the University of Missouri S&T and Duke University, where he earned his MBA, along with ongoing professional development in AI technology and project management. Jim’s career has been defined by leadership and innovation. He led multi-state operations for Empire Education Group, advanced workforce programs in technical trades, and later served as Head of Operations for Run Specialty Group, scaling the business to national prominence. Following its acquisition, he co-founded RNK Running & Walking, a community-oriented retail brand supporting athletic events, local schools, and causes like Rylie’s ARK, a nonprofit honoring a young runner’s legacy through acts of kindness. Through JB Services, Jim now focuses on helping organizations navigate growth, transitions, and operational challenges. His unique approach combines engineering frameworks, business system design, and human-centered leadership, empowering companies to thrive with structure and heart.
