Jim Browning is a Colorado-based entrepreneur, engineer, and business leader known for his ability to build, scale, and align organizations across diverse industries. As Founder and President of JB Services, Jim partners with companies to optimize systems, strengthen leadership teams, and create predictable results by blending engineering precision with business strategy. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Jim earned Brigade Championship honors as Team Captain of the Sandhurst Team before continuing his education in Engineering at the University of Missouri S&T and earning an MBA from Duke University. His lifelong passion for problem-solving and structured innovation began on a Texas farm, where he became known for finding creative solutions with limited resources. Over his career, Jim has held executive roles spanning education, specialty retail, and operations, leading large-scale projects and multi-location expansions. As Head of Operations for Run Specialty Group, he helped grow the organization from the ground up to 53 locations nationwide, culminating in its acquisition by The Finish Line. He later co-founded RNK Running & Walking, building a community-driven brand that continues to serve the Douglas County running community through events, partnerships, and philanthropy. Today, through JB Services, Jim applies his expertise to help companies in agriculture, logistics, construction, and nonprofit sectors improve team alignment, operational efficiency, and long-term scalability. He has supported organizations like Goodwill of Denver and continues to mentor leaders across industries.
